20.8'' TFT LCD Frame
Just brought the 20inch picture frame and I am EXTREMLEY happy with it. I ordered it on a Saturday and had received it by the Wednesday. It is brilliant, picture quality is great and looks like a flat screen television on the wall. I could not get the pictures to save to the memory, so I rang and left a message and was called back within half an hour. A brilliant man called Steve told me to plug the picture frame into my laptop using the usb lead, (where my photos are) and just copy and paste. This was so much easier and took a few seconds. I highly reccommend this campany and the picture frame

200ABN 20 inch
The 200abn arrived 3 days after order. The photo frame looks good and gave a good picture quality and really shows our photos from far flung travels very well.the remote is quite small but works ok.Whilst the long lead is a thoughtful addition,it is clear it takes a vesa 100 mount/bracket. The menu was easy to understand and be set to start automatically on pictures or videos, which we use in our work reception. Not cheap but a good product.

Digital Photo Frame 150ABN
The goods arrived on time and in good condition. The photo frame has a good clear picture. The only promblem is the remote control does not work particularly well need to press the keys lots of times for it to work. --thanks for feedback---If you continue to have remote issues--please let me know and we will replace it for you.

Pixelar 120AB slim
Thank you from the prompt dispatch of my order, which arrived today in good order. I have been setting up the frame and experimenting with scanned pictures of music scores. The scores are beautifully displayed and it is possible to change pages, though the remote is fiddley at first. Using the frame in landscape places the power inlet at an awkward angle when the frame is on a music stand, but I hope to beable to overcome this. I will let you know how I get on. Thank you again, M H MAX---thank you for your feedback--never thought of using LCD frames for displaying music score till we spoke...very interesting

| We tried every website and High Street retailer to get these digital photo frames at short notice for an event. Other suppliers had them but in stores all around the city and could do nothing to help us. Other websites could only deliver to Ireland in 5 days. Pixelar picked up my voice mail, contacted me back within an hour and had the order with us within 48 hours at a great price. Steve gave unbelievable service. Well done, keep this up and you will be the market leader if you are not already. The web is full of me too electronics suppliers Pixelar really is different.

Mreader silver
Firstly thanks to Steve for walking me through the first couple of days of use of my ereader-great service. I bought a silver version.I find it easy to use and particularly like the flush press page turn at bottom of unit.It is very good at displaying epubs and pretty good at pdf,or at least better than the Sony I had.The screen is easy on the eyes and the menu is clear and intuitive.Page turn is quite quick too. I doubt i will ever fill the 2Gb card that is provided free with the ereader, but I will give it a good go I will try to leave another review after a month or so. Thanks once again,I have recommended this to friends.-John

Mreader black
I checked and studied for two months to find the right e-reader and then I found the M-Reader. It is so easy to load up with books just drag and drop. I really like the ability to play around with spacing, line change and font change and I think the bold is the easiest character to read. I have sneaked it out several times though it is for Christmas. I have e-mailed expertreviews.co.uk and e Reader Guide and 2 others to tell them how good the M-Reader is and one asked me if I work for Pixelar. If I find any others that have not heard I shall spread the good news. 10 out of 10.

Hanlin v3 eReader
After some research I chose the Hanlin v3 from Pixelar, as the bundle included those items I'd have added anyway. I was going away and the reader was to pass the time in airports & on trains, saving having to carry books. Apart from the couriers sending it to North Wales via Scotland the e-reader arrived promptly. I'd already prepared a number of books ready for transfer. These were in Mobi, Plain Text & Adobe Digital Editions (DRM), it handled them all superbly. The zoom facility especially useful after a long day! I updated the firmware with no problems, & went on my trip. Th e-reader proved a 'godsend'. To date it's given no problems, & has lived up to my expectations. I hope I don't have any problems but from the very prompt & helpful response to my question regarding its location,(I was given the tracking number, so I could follow its progress round the country), I feel happy that any further questions will be dealt with in the same efficient manner.

Steve has been amazingly easy to deal with. Obliging, prompt in replying to all my silly queries, pulled out all the stops to get my order to me well before I left the UK, and, when there was a slight hiccup with one of the power plugs which is temporarily out of stock, has promised to post it to me in Oz as soon as it comes back into stock. I would heartily recommend Steve and Pixelar

Hanlin V3 eReader
I learned about Pixelar through the many references on eBook related sites. I liked the relatively low price for Europe of the Hanline V3 eReader and was pleased to find genuine and useful information about the product on the site. I was impressed by the very prompt and friendly responses to my inquiries. Although Bulgaria was not among the explicitly listed countries on the delivery information page I received the product in great packaging and without any problems.

Pixelar eReader
I bought four eReaders from Pixelar and am extremely happy with both their price and the quality of service. Also, note that the actual eReader (after the firmware upgrade which is freely downloadable from Pixelar's website with clear instructions) far exceeds the technical specifications for the "out-of-the-box" one. Specifically it then supports 16 GB SDHC cards (I am using PNY Optima 16 GB SDHC card with no problems whatsoever) and adds such important functions as "Search" while viewing the PDF and EPUB files and PDF reflow, the latter being indispensable when viewing PDFs typeset for the page size greater than 9x12cm. Also, the leather case is a MUST --- it protects the screen and generally makes reading experience more "natural" (as we humans are used to reading by opening the books rather than by tearing individual pages out of the book and holding them separately :) In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Pixelar eReader for both unbeatable price and excellent quality of their customer service. I will probably buy some more as it is obviously the best gift. A book was, IMHO, the best gift in the world until eReaders came, so...

Pixelar eReader
Hi, A few comments that may be useful for you answering customer's queries. In summary --- I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with the device and already referred two friends of mine to your site (and will continue to refer my friends/students unless I see it elsewhere cheaper). On Fri, 4 Sep 2009, steve jones Pixelar.co.uk wrote: >> 3. Does mp3 player support directory browsing or only the tag-based >> linearly ordered list? > > Our V3 device doesn't support MP3 directory browsing. It does support it perfectly! Before I updgraded the firmware to the latest on your site (V2.10) I was horrified by the low level of quality (no anti-aliasing) of PDF viewer. However, after the firmware upgrade I confirm that it is actually BETTER than Sony PRS-505. While it is fresh in my memory here are the pros and cons compared to Sony PRS-505 (you are free to publish these comments on your website if you wish): 1. Support for more formats (most importantly to me djvu and chm) 2. Natural view of storage by means of directories, subdirectories and files. No need to waste time creating "Collections" --- managing data by means of directories (aka "folders" in non-Unix world) is much more convenient. This works for all file types, including mp3 --- this means no need to bother with the mp3 tags (I only hope that they (Hanlin) do NOT break this by adding support for mp3 tags). 3. PDF reflow works as good as in Sony (looks like exactly the same software licensed from Adobe). 4. The only feature lacking in Hanlin V3 (but present in Sony PRS-505) is support for the hyperlinks on a page of PDF file. 5. More zoom levels for PDF. 6. Supports 8GB SDHC just fine (I am using Transcend 8GB SDHC Class 6 card with no problems whatsoever). Sony's claim of 16GB support is a LIE (no, their firmware upgrade for SDHC > 4GB doesn't solve this). Sony PRS-505 actually corrupts (silently!) all data beyond 4GB (i.e. wraps around writes beyond 4Gb to the blocks at the beginning) so the real maximum of both devices is the same (4GB + 4GB for Sony PRS-505 and 8GB single SDHC for Hanlin V3). Unfortunately 16GB cards don't work for Hanlin either BUT unlike PRS-505 the data is NOT corrupted --- it just refuses to read it and displays the message "No SD card". 7. Table of contents elements (aka "PDF bookmarks" and "DjVu outlines") can be in any language, not just English. I tested Russian and Armenian and they work just fine. The only serious bug is in Hanlin V3's mp3 player --- it skips the last few seconds of the file. Maybe this is OK for songs but not good for audio books where the last 10 seconds may contain a whole sentence or two. I should log it on Jinke's developers forum, I am just too busy right now. Even this email I meant to write to you for ages and only got a spare minute to do so now :) Kind regards Tigran

The device was ordered Aug. 13, 2009 and safely received Aug. 19. Content is as ordered. Everything o.k. Did not receive order confirmation and DHL tracking no. unless asking for it. Georg -we ship within 48 hrs exc weekends as couriers do not collect on weekends. So it took three transit days to get to Germany. I did send the tracking number, but you have 2 different email addresses. We re sent to you. Hope you have fun with the ereader..pse see website for latest firmware updates.

eReader Hanlin V3
I read all the reviews; feedback; and problems and was swayed by a glowing feedback by a guy in Tenerife. I hope this feedback has the same effect. The purchasing was straightforward. The speedy delivery was by courier. First impressions were how large and clear the screen appeared. The optional Case is worth the investment, although - the lamp is rather disappointing. All relevant leads etc were supplied and I might add that because I raised a question with regard it's use abroad - Steve Jones of Pixelar added an additional adapter plug FOC. I wanted an ebook reader for my wife, so it had to be easy to operate. Like anything else electronic (like mobile phones for example) it can be quite simple to use, or as difficult if you want to take advantage of every feature. You switch it on - select a book - turn the page. Your Granny could use it. The manual is a different matter - it's all there but I know it will take time. It needs the firmware update before using really as there is need of it to remove reference to deleted books. The firmware needs unzipping plus the SD card requires formatting, best done with Panasonic SD Formatter 2.0.0.3. It does require some computer knowledge (or in my case, someone I know) to get started. If this had been bought from A N Other company, I would have been worried, but - I cannot speak too highly of Steve Jones of Pixelar who gave me guidance and help with such speedy replies, it was personal service at it's very best. The ebook reader hardware competition might seem more polished, but I really was against being locked into a particular sector of (over priced?) ebooks. I can readily recommend Pixelar and the V3.

Hanlin V3
I am impressed with the speed of delivery, packaging and product itself. Product arrived on the second working day after the purchase. Hanlin V3 is a great e-reader, supporting most formats you could throw at it. I tested it with a number of formats and all work well. Reads DRM protected mobi books. A UK 3-pin travel charger is very useful if you don't happen to have a PC around. PDF files with many images are sometimes hard to read but this is a common problem for all e-readers, including Sony's e-reader and Kindle. Highly recommended both Pixelar and Hanlin V3.

Pixelar 150AB Digital Photo Frame.
Pros: Great looking product. Picture really good and have put quite a few photos on and still have loads of memory left. Cons: Remote seems a little unresponsive but wonder if it needs a new battery - it arrived without the usual little strip that you pull out. Manual not very good but anyone with some computer knowledge will be able to work out how to drag and drop onto the photo frame. Shame that the power cable has to come out of the side so that you can see it - we liked the smaller Phillips frame because the power cable came out of the back. However, this option would then mean you couldn't hang it on the wall - unless you could have 2 power connection options! Overall we are very happy with the product and the service and will try and new battery to see if that will sort out the remote.

Pixelar Hanlin eReader
I had had it at the back of my mind to buy an eBook reader for some time and when in Gatwick airport recently I saw a Sony PRS-505 in Dixons Tax Free my interest was rekindled. However, nobody in Dixons could tell me anything about it so I didn't buy one and got my flight home to Tenerife. A few days later I asked my local computer shop in Tenerife if they supply Sony eBook readers but was told they aren't available in Tenerife but they could get me a Papyre eBook. The Papyre they told me was better than the Sony as it had double the internal memory and supported a huge number of different formats, the price, however, was 398 Euros, substantially more than the Sony. They suggested that I look up Papyre on the internet which I did. It turned out that the Papyre is made in China for the Spanish market by the Jinke Company who OEM eBook readers under a number of brand names including, Papyre, BeBook and Hanlin. I looked up the Pixelar web site and was impressed with the quality of the web site and the information on the Hanlin eBook reader. Pixelar are a British company who claim to have years of experience at determining the best audio visual products at competitive prices. I liked the idea that Pixelar was a relatively small British Company which made me think that they would consider after sales service important which as it turned out I was right. I remembered seeing that PC Pro magazine had done a review of eBooks in their January edition. The Hanlin was not one of the five eBooks reviewed but the BeBook was and is the same as the Hanlin. The two brand leaders are probably Sony and the Amazon Kindle-2 which is not yet available in Europe. The problem with the Sony and the Kindle is that to a great extent you are tied into buying ebooks from their own sources. Format support for the Sony is limited to their own format BBeB, plus, EPUB, PDF, DOC and TXT and according to PC Pro it struggles to display PDF's “on occasion”. The Kindle is even more limited with format support available for Amazon's own proprietary AZW format plus Mobipocket and TXT. Three other formats, HTML, PDF and DOC have to be converted to AZW using a free email service. The Hanlin on the other hand supports, PDF, MOBI, DOC, WOLF, MP3, HTML, TXT, CHM, FB2, Djvu, PNG, TIF, GIF, BMP, JPG, PPT, EPUB, LIT, and PRC. According to PC Pro the BeBook is let down by only rendering pages in four shades of grey against the Sony's eight as a result, they say text appears slightly pixellated. PC Pro also goes on to say that the BeBook has a “real bargain-basement feel to the device” and “The matt-black plastic case feels cheap”. The last two comments somewhat put me off but on reading other reviews from users no one else had made similar comments. My experience of the Hanlin is that there is no pixellation at all in text in any of the formats that I have tried so far, Mobi, TXT, WOL, PDF and Doc even at the highest magnification. As for bargain-basement feel, as far as I am concerned the Hanlin feels robust and well made. Aesthetically it is perhaps not as good as my impression of the Sony but the keys are well spaced and well positioned and it is perfectly functional. One of the best features of the Hanlin apart from its 512MB memory (double that of the Sony and the Kindle) is the number of formats that it supports. As a novice to eBooks It would be useful if there was some information on formats and Digital Rights Management (DRM) and guidance as to what formats are the best for downloading eBooks. As most free eBooks are available in multi format I have been downloading free eBooks from various eBook web sites in different formats as a learning experience. The first free eBook that I tried to download was a Lee Child novel from Fictionwise www.fictionwise.com. After logging in for the first time I had to set up my preferred and alternative secure eBook formats. As Fictionwise recommend Secure eReader format as the preferred selection I went along with that not realising that that was one format that the Hanlin did not support, however, an email to Fictionwise got a speedy response that they had changed the format to Mobipocket which installed without any problems. As mentioned, I have since tried TXT, WOL, PDF and DOC format downloads without any problems and I have also experimented with JPG and HTML. It should be noted that not all of the formats available with the Hanlin support DRM (Digital Rights Management). I recently upgraded the Firmware in my Hanlin to the latest version. The update download has first to be unzipped and copied onto a 1GB SD card and only a 1GB card as any other size will not work. 1GB SD cards appear to be going out of fashion here in Tenerife, 2GB and above, no problem but nowhere could I find a 1GB card. Fortunately my digital camera had a 1GB card in it and the upgrade went off without a hitch. It might be a good idea if you decide to buy a Hanlin to order a 1GB SD card from Pixelar at the same time as I suspect that 1GB cards may soon be a thing of the past. After ordering a Hanlin it finally arrived in Tenerife after a somewhat protracted journey. Through no fault of Pixelar my eBook went from the UK to Barcelona then to Madrid then to Tenerife and then back to Barcelona and finally back to Tenerife. All the time I was able to follow the travels of my Hanlin by entering a tracking number into the couriers website. Although it took nearly three weeks to arrive I have nothing but praise for the way that Steve Jones of Pixelar dealt with my cries for help. The problem was Spanish Customs and it was unfortunate that it was the first (and perhaps last) order that Pixelar have exported to Tenerife. Communication is such an important aspect of dealing with customers especially regarding complaints and on this I could not fault Pixelar's Steve Jones who always dealt with my email queries promptly and efficiently – full marks. So to sum up - Am I pleased with my Hanlin? Yes. Am I pleased with the service from Pixelar? Yes. Would I recommend Pixelar and the Hanlin? Yes. John Calland

I recieved my Pixelar named Hamlin v3 e-reader the next day and its great. Its the same as the Bebook except it doesn't have the distracting logo Bebook stamped on it which I know would drive me crazy. Its better than the Sony which I've tried in waterstones because this reads everything I've thrown its way (something many of the competition are struggling with). I've read a whole book about the Illuminati Agenda New World Order on it already. Only disapointment is you have to charge it for 12 hours on the first three charges and it only comes with a cheap protective pocket as standard and it really needs the wallet (optional extra) which I wish I got at the time.

I ordered Thursday evening at 6.15, by 8pm I got a dispatch notice and received it by lunchtime on Monday. I was reading in bed later and it was as good as I'd hoped for, but I've still a lot of 'playing' to do to work out all that it is capable of.

Hi, I ordered this video baby monitor from the Pixelar site and recieved it by courier 2 days later. I am very impressed with both the picture and sound quality. It is simple to set up and I look forward to using it for my new arrival! I had purchased other video monitors which I returned because the picture and sound were very poor quality. The sound on these monitors is crystal clear as is the picture and you can walk around the house or move outside without any loss of picture or interference. I would highly recommend them and Pixelar.

| I am very happy with this baby monitor. It's very nice being able to see my baby while she sleeps and not have to go in to bother her and risk waking her. It's great for the middle of the night to check if she needs me when she cries or if she's just going to settle herself. The flower is very cute and my baby likes looking at it. It works well in the dark and shows a large area of the cot. It clips onto the cot and you can bend it easily. The light is handy too. Only down side is the sound quality is very bad and constantly crackles. I use a separate sound/breathing monitor and mute the sound on the flowercam.
